Range with ONE
Range is partnering with ONE Coaching for The Caregiver Community. They have worked alongside each other for years, connected by a shared belief in the power of coaching, leadership, and community. Their own caregiving journeys brought that connection into sharper focus. While their experiences have been different, they both know what it means to care deeply for someone while continuing to show up as a leader, partner, parent, professional, and friend. They created The Caregiver Community as the space they each wished they had, a place to step outside the caregiver role, reconnect with the whole person, and navigate caregiving alongside others who understand. Because caregivers deserve a community that cares for them, too.
Amy & Pegah’s Caregiver Stories
Amy’s Connection
Leadership requires range. The same person leading a team one day may be taking a call from a hospital room or making end-of-life decisions the next. I know this firsthand. Over two decades in public education, including as a school superintendent and leadership coach, I also served as power of attorney and caregiver for my late brother and a parent with dementia while raising a family and growing my career. Those experiences taught me that leadership and life are never separate, and that caregiving requires courage, communication, boundaries, and adaptability. My work alongside communities in Washington, DC, Baltimore, and Chicago also showed me the power of people caring for one another through difficult circumstances. Today, as a leadership coach and consultant with Range Associates, I coach leaders through the seasons that ask the most of them, helping them show up for their teams and their loved ones without losing themselves along the way. I also partner with organizations to modernize data capabilities and improve the processes that drive outcomes. The Caregiver Community brings these experiences together to create the space I wish I had: a place where caregivers can step out of the caretaker role and be cared for too.

Pegah’s Connection
My caregiving journey began five days after my second child was born, when my father suffered multiple strokes during COVID. Over the next several years, I navigated doctors, hospitals, insurance, dementia, respite care, and ultimately end-of-life care while raising a family and continuing to build my nearly 20-year career in education and leadership development in Houston. My mother was his primary caregiver, while my brother and I shared the responsibility alongside our own full lives. I found caregiver support groups and dementia education courses, but I couldn’t find a space focused on me, the mother, wife, daughter, sister, leader, and friend beyond my caregiver role. My own leadership coaches became that space for me, helping me reconnect with myself while carrying an enormous responsibility that so many others go through, yet our societal structures don’t support. That experience inspired me to create a space in my executive coaching and leadership development business where other caregivers could do the same. The Caregiver Community is rooted in a simple belief: caregivers need care too, and deserve to not feel alone in their very common, but less talked about, journeys.

What You’ll Take With You
The Caregiver Community gives you 60 minutes a month to pause, tell your story, hear the stories of others, and discover practical tools, trusted resources, and ideas that may help you think through what comes next. It’s not therapy, medical, hospice, legal advice, or one-to-one coaching; it’s a facilitated space where the power of storytelling and shared experience helps you find connection, perspective, and solutions that fit your own story. Make room for yourself to step back, reconnect with yourself, and experience caregiving differently.
We understand your time is a sacred resource, and we placed these sessions over the lunch hour to account for that as best we could. If a 1:1 session with one of your facilitators feels like a better fit, please reach out.
